Ammon Days might be the best weekend of the summer according to my kids. I personally don't love it as much, but this year I got smarter and I brought a backpack to carry all the junk they collected, I let Kylee wander off with her friend alone, and I just planned on them eating a ton of sugar. So it was better this year. Especially since I knew there was a car show there and thought there was a chance we could see the Lightning McQueen car. We found it right away! If nothing else happened, it was still a winning day because of that. Kaden was a bit disappointed that we couldn't take it for a spin, but it was still really cool.
I have to admit that there were a lot of fun things to do from all the vendors. I mean, there were plenty of dumb ones, but that's okay.
These guys were super impressed with how strong Dylan was, lol. They started him with the lighter "boards" and kept moving him up to harder ones. The last one took him two tries, but he got it. As we walked away he says, "Mom, do you think you could've broke that?" It's always a competition with this kid. We both threw the baseball and I only beat him by 1. He got 30, I got 31 but my balls went straight down. I guess I need to work on my release.
