Sadie has done many of these opinion writings in her class this year, but this one cracked me up. Mostly the use of the word "dreadful" (she was obviously reading Harry Potter at the time). And that she hates piano. Of course she exaggerated her practice time, more like 20 minutes at most.
Kaden went on a field trip to the airport and my friends that chaperoned sent me a couple pictures. I was willing to help but they always had so many volunteers that I just never ended up going.
The sad news is that Peaches our bunny died. We're not sure why. She had been roaming free for months and we tried to lock her up again for a couple reasons. She kept using the deck as her bathroom, especially Jax's bed. But Ryan had to keep cleaning it up. And I was planting my garden and she would eat it all before it had a chance to grow. So we locked her in her enclosure, but she wiggled her way out. She kept breaking out. Ryan kept trying different things to get her locked in. We think she may have hurt herself by trying to fight her way out. We are not completely sure, but she ended up dead one day and Ryan quickly buried her. We told all the kids and Sadie was the only one who was super sad. In the meantime, Ryan was searching Craigslist for another bunny. He found these two black ones and took Sadie and Kaden with him to go pick one out. They ended up with both of them. They're really cute!
Kaden got a haircut from Sherri. His hair is pretty thin so we don't really do anything with it other than keep it from sticking up crazy. We tried a couple things. We went back to leaving it down.
Easter!
My car hit this mileage when I pulled into the garage one day. I think I should've made a wish. She's got a lot of miles on her!
Did I mention that I don't love track? The girls don't mind the running and racing. But it was SO unorganized and the meets are so long and boring. Plus, it's soccer season. No more school track for them.
