Everything Else in June

Sadie had soccer tryouts for the first time.  She is old enough now to play competitively and I was very stressed about whether she would make the premier team.  I knew she was close.  But I didn't want her to be on the select team.  I thought about taking her to Renegades tryouts, assuming she would make that team since they need people.  But Jeremy talked to me after the first night of tryouts and told me he thought she would be on the premier team.  I was still very nervous.  The coach had cut her the last two seasons, but of course he doesn't know her and apparently knows all the other girls.  But the coach doesn't get to decide.  I'm happy that she made the team, and then I got nervous that she would need to prove herself.  And the coach will have a say in it next year.  Hopefully she will prove herself.

We got to play parents vs players with her old team before, and we had a lot of fun.  I brought Kylee and it helped.

Kylee and Dylan were supposed to tryout as well, but they had FSY and I figured it was highly unlikely that they would be moved.  Dylan hadn't improved much so there was no reason to think he would move up.  And Kylee does well and her coach plays her "every minute of every game" in his words.  So I guess she is safe, lol.

I was invited to join a group of ladies riding the Little Red bike ride in Cache Valley.  It was fun!  I love that ride.  We only did 45 miles so it was no big deal.

We rode right past my grandma's old house.  She's been gone for like 12 years.
