Paddleboarding

We have kayaked and paddled the river as a family a few times.  It's a lot of fun.  But I feel like the kids don't really enjoy it as much if we do it all the time.  They certainly don't enjoy it as much as I do.  And I am always a little stressed about staying close to my kids and such.  So this year I decided we wouldn't go as a family and instead I would go with my mom and invite my friends.  Well, that didn't work out because, as I stated in a previous post, my mom had a spot removed (deeply) from her arm and wasn't allowed to do anything adventurous at all.  We were super bummed.  So I invited friends to do it later on.  Jen and Sherri joined me and it was 1- earlier than we usually start with the kids. 2- on a weekday instead of a Saturday. So 3- so much more peaceful and relaxing!  It's always peaceful but I was definitely more relaxed.  We paddled some, just floated some.  We chatted, took pictures, and just enjoyed the beautiful Island Park and Henry Fork River.

Jen and Sherri were accidentally twinning.
