December

Kylee got to play soccer in Vegas with her club team.  Ryan chose to take her this time (I was planning to take her to Seattle in January so he thought it was his turn).   This is part of the Yellowstone Premier League.  There were soccer weekends in Pheonix, which we opted out of because it was November and our school seasons had all just ended and they hadn't played together much yet.  And Vegas and Seattle.  The girls had fun but they lost their games.

Kaden had his night as Future Knight!  It was so fun.  He got a jersey, and they asked him who his favorite player was and gave him a jersery with his number (Isaac Davis, 0).  They introduced him and the girl with him at the beginning before they introduced their starters. And they got to go over to the huddle.  Then sat on the bench to watch the game and the team would give them high fives as they sat out.  And then at the end he got to go into the locker room with them.  Kaden loves basketball and he likes watching Hillcrest play so it was a really fun night for him.

For this game, we got the rest of the kids to come watch and support, at least at the start.  Kylee and Dylan left at halftime but I had to take a picture of the student section because I figured this may be the only time they are both there.  They don't enjoy going to games.  Sadie and Kaden do though.  Can you spot Kylee and Dylan?  They are definitely not together.  They are with their friends.

Piano recital time! Sadie and Kaden did great at their recitals.

Sadie loves the girls on her basketball team (even if she doesn't necessarily love basketball)
We went snowshoeing!  Not the same as hiking but it was really nice to get out into the mountains.

We took the two kids to a USU game and met Dan and Sara and their kids there too.  It was fun!

Our neighbor had a holiday party and it was a lot of fun!
We got pajamas, like always, but this year we were matching.  Kylee and Dylan got matching pants but no shirt.
Family holiday party!
