Father's Day

We tried our best to make Father's Day special for Ryan.  He requested breakfast in bed with chocolate chip pancakes and orange juice.  Though I think he was kind of kidding, just making requests the kids would like, I decided it wasn't hard to make it happen.  He didn't eat it in bed, though.  He woke up and came out before we got it ready to bring to him.  It's better to eat at the table with the family anyway.

The kids and I made him a candy card, or whatever you call this.  I told the kids to keep it a secret.  It's so funny how Dylan and Sadie just can't keep surprises a secret.  They wanted to give them their notes immediately and they kept giving him 'clues' about what our gift was.  Kylee is totally opposite.  The kids loved picking out the candy and making this for Dad.

The we had ribs for dinner, which is one of his favorite meals.  I hope he feels appreciated because we certainly do love him and all the hard work he does for our family!
