August Fun Stuff

Here's August phone pictures.  Thank Heavens for our phone cameras or I would forget half the stuff we did.

Ryan took Sadie and Kaden to the zoo.  The older two kids are not as impressed with the zoo anymore.  But these two love it.  And Ryan is great at taking them, he loves to get out and enjoy the nice weather.

For Ryan's birthday I thought about getting a babysitter for us, but Ryan said we should just take the kids.  He chose Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner, which the kids love.

I made him Peanut Butter Pie for his birthday cake.  It was very rich and delicious.

We got our new car!

Kylee is a big helper with Kaden.

Kylee and Dylan had an eye exam.  (Coincidentally this is when Kylee got her eye infection.)

I went to dinner with friends for Ingrid's birthday!  My girls are so goofy.

I take sweaty selfies all the time to post to my challenge group that I do.  This one was some SERIOUS sweat.  This was after a run.

And this was when Dylan went running with me around the block one morning.  Trying to get him into shape for soccer!

For activity days we did a Daddy-Daughter date where we played kickball and then did water balloon tosses.  Then we roasted marshmallows and made smores.  It's exactly the same thing we did last year, but everyone loved it so we did it again.  Especially since there were only like three girls who were there last year since the others have turned 8 this year.
