It wasn't exactly cold when we went to the beach, but it wasn't super warm either. We went a few times, some of the time I kept my jacket on the whole time, one of the days I laid out in the sun. But there was no time that I wanted to get in that water. Brrr! This was my argument about visiting Florida in the summer- swimming is what you want to do! But Ryan thinks it's too hot to do anything else (he's mostly right). Anyway, the kids didn't mind being cold, but you can see from their faces that it was definitely COLD!
There was an airshow (Thunderbirds?) one of the days we were at the beach. Kaden didn't like how LOUD it was. But they flew right over us quite a few times.
Dylan and Kaden were really cute together. There was one day when Kylee left early to go do something with Grandma so the rest of us were still at the beach. Dylan was trying to convince Sadie to come swim with him. I thought it was so awesome because those two middle children just don't get along most of the time. But when Kylee left, Dylan needed a new friend so he was trying to bribe Sadie. She complied for a little while. This is why I love family vacations. Your kids end up being "friends" with each other instead of just annoyances.
Kevin was there for a day and a half while I was there and then they flew out. It was fun getting to see him!
