The beach in January is not my idea of swimming weather. But, the kids don't mind being cold. Dylan tried to get me to come play in the waves with him. I told him he couldn't pay me enough to go out there. But luckily Ryan is more fun than I am. And the other kids played as well. I was happy to play in the sand though. Luckily, my mom's pool is heated so it was warm enough. Still not super comfortable when it isn't warm outside though. But warm enough to swim for a little while, especially if the sun came out.
