We went to Salem for Thanksgiving, and we drove down there the night before. Jeff and Amanda had the idea to do Luminaria because it opened that week. We had wanted to go last year but didn't realize you have to get tickets in advance and it sells out pretty fast. So we got tickets weeks before and we all went together. Jeff, Amanda, Kennedy and her boyfriend, Gabby, my mom, and my family. It was chilly but it was really cool. About halfway through we came to the little village with hot chocolate and a firepit so that was fun. We loved the statues of Christ in different stories of the bible (those are always there). And we made it to the fire and light show in time to just have to wait a few minutes and then got to see the show.
