Despite the huge snowstorm earlier in the month, the weather was amazingly warm on Halloween. We enjoy it when we can because it doesn't happen too often. We had a lot of festivities, the parade at the school was outdoors for the first time since I've had kids at the school. We also had a chili cook off trunk or treat activity at the church. Dylan went with the young men to a haunted house. Kylee went to a couple haunted houses with friends. And then of course trick or treating. Sadie went off with friends and I escorted Kaden and Porter. Actually Sadie and Cambry took them for a bit and then I went out and met up with them. They went further this year than they had in years past. Also this year Halloween was on a Sunday, so we had the school stuff on a Friday and we went trick or treating on Saturday. The ward party was on a Thursday so they got to dress up multiple times. Dylan was not a fan of his costume that I picked out, but he also didn't want to pick out anything for himself either. Kylee and Averi dressed up as a devil and an angel, which was cute. I grew all our pumpkins in my garden this year, and they were awesome! But we never decorated any. The kids painted a few of the small ones, but I never got around to carving.
