Back to School

Back to school they go.  The first day of school they are always so happy and excited.  They don't fight.  They don't whine about how tired they are.  It's kinda great.

Likes- soccer, sports, singing, texting/FaceTime 
Dislikes- eggs, flowery clothes
Wants to be- (not sure, I’ll have to ask her when she gets done with school, cross country and soccer later tonight!) Nurse! This changes frequently but this is the first year she has named my field 😁

School clothes are no big deal to my kids.  But shoes!  Shoes are important.  We might've waited until the last minute, but Kohl's came through and we got them all ones they liked (actually the ones Sadie has on in this pic are from Children's Place because the ones she got from Kohl's were light-up Skechers and I told her they wouldn't go with the dress she wanted to wear for her first day outfit.)

Kylee gets to ride the bus this year.  It's been like 6 years since she rode the bus.  It doesn't come until 8:04 so that's nice.  She has time to do her hair however she wants.  The other two kids have to leave at 7:40.  I didn't go with any of them to the school.  They are all too old for that now :)

 Kaden didn't start school until a week after the other kids.  But he was sure excited!  I got to go with him his first day to do orientation and we rode bikes.

Wants to be- who knows, I don't really want to think about that for a few years.  He's going to stay small for me.
