Oregon- Beverly Beach

We decided to do the beach the right way, since the kids didn't seem to mind that it was only 60 degrees. We brought sunscreen and swimsuits and went out at high tide. Dylan wanted to go "way out" but I told him about riptides and jelly fish and convinced him not to.  He wanted me to go out with him, but I was not ready to get that wet.  Also, there were sand fleas!  Little bugs that would bite when they landed on you.  I felt them on my feet a little and wasn't sure if it was in my head or not.  But then I saw them.  The girls tried to lay down in the sand once and both yelped and jumped up.  Mean little things but fairly harmless.  They didn't leave any itchy bites behind or anything.  The kids had a blast.  The beach is always fun.  Kaden got knocked down pretty good a couple times but he kept smiling!
