 Easter Egg Hunt at home

Easter Egg Hunt at the Country Club

 Kaden was, of course, adorable.

Sadie lost her first tooth!  It was loose for awhile and Grandpa and Ryan were talking about who was going to get to pull it.  Ryan was outside working while Sadie was eating lunch and when she bit into her bagel bites pizza, it pushed her tooth even more.  I asked if I could see how loose it was, and once I had my hand on it and saw it was halfway out, I just pulled.  She was so excited!  Kylee didn’t lose her teeth until like first grade, so I was a little surprised and not quite ready for her to lose her tiny-toothed smile.  She got $5 from the tooth fairy and she used it to buy this glitter glue and a big red ball.
As soon as the sun comes out, the kids want to be outside!  Kaden especially is obsessed with outdoors.  If only he didn't require such close supervision...

We made it back up to snowboard one more time before the season ended for good.  This time we brought Hailee and Dylan with us.  I put the kids in a lesson again and hoped to go on a run or two by myself, but Dylan needed a little extra attention (as I figured he would) so I helped him during his lesson while the teacher helped Hailee.  Hailee picked it up really quick and her and Kylee had a lot of fun.  I had to drag them off the mountain at the end of the night as the lifts were closing.  I was very impressed because as the sun went down, the snow turned to ice.  And it is not easy to carve into ice.  Plus it hurts really bad when you fall.  Those girls had to have been exhausted, but just having to much fun.

Dylan and I had fun too, but it was exhausting.  It is not easy to assist a snowboarder down the mountain.  I don't really know how to slow us down together and it's very scary to think of him losing control and flying too fast down the icy mountain.  He took a couple hard falls and I thought he would be ready to quit. But after a break to snack and have some hot cocoa, he was ready again.  We should've called it quits early, though.  The last run we took was rough.  It was about 8:30pm, which is when he's usually in bed.  So he was tired, not to mention worn out from the exertion.  The snow was so icy.  And then I took a dumb fall and landed hard on my tailbone.  I almost swore.  I laid there for a minute.  And I wanted to be done.  Dylan scooched down to me saying, "Mom, are you okay??"  I told him I would be eventually.  But we needed to get down the stupid mountain.  He basically boarded in a full squat position and just pushed himself along.  I went slowly close to him.  Then we took off our boards and walked down the flat bunny hill.  My tailbone hurt miserably for weeks afterwards when I would do lunges, jumps, or especially C-sit or sit-ups.  But it must've not been broken because it healed and no longer hurts.

Sadie has gotten used to me doing workout videos nearly every day and she sometimes joins in.  She likes yoga best.

Occasionally I will do Sadie's hair. Mostly on Tuesdays when she has dance.  Other days I don't even brush it...  I do Kylee's hair every day though!  Her's requires a little more attention.

More workout pictures.  I have a lot of them because I post to this FB group all the time.  Kaden loves going for runs, walks or bike rides in his little stroller.

His scar is pretty ugly, but at least it's on his foot this time...  I removed the stitches while Ryan and Kylee held him down kicking and screaming.  Good times.  He forgives quickly though.  I was so sick of him pulling at the stitches all the time.
During Spring Break we went to the movies.  It was fun, but Kaden is not easy.  He made quite a mess with the popcorn.  We watched Zootopia and it was good!  Kylee brought our neighbor Audrey :)

A little game time with the older kiddos.  Jenga is a fun one.  Someday they will get old enough to play Monopoly or Clue.  But Dylan has a short attention span and likes simple games.  Kylee doesn't love board games / card games in general.  But we had fun doing a few this day.

Some school stuff we had to work on over Spring Break.  Okay, we didn't HAVE to do it over the break, but we had some time so why not.  Dylan's diorama- The Tundra

Kylee's space pageant.  Can you tell which planet she is?  Without reading her sash??  Yes, there are 13 rings there.
This was an assignment Kylee brought home from school that I thought showed her writing style pretty well.  She's so fun.
Sadie doing yoga with me, and dressing the part!  Messy bun, tank, and mat.  Too adorable.  I actually do Piyo, which is a combo of pilates and yoga.  It's fun but hard too!

Kaden LOVES the slide!!  He loves being outdoors.  He's a happy little guy.
