Junior Golf Tournament

I signed my kids up for Jr Golf with the city again this year.  Though we didn't get them out as much as we would've liked, we did take advantage of the tournaments they offered.  One was parent/child teams.  I was out of town but Ryan played with Kylee and Sadie (I think?) and Grandma played with Dylan.  They got awards at the awards ceremony for the teams.  I think they lucked out getting Dad as a partner.  He's pretty awesome.  Grandma is great as well, but for some reason they didn't recognize the grandma/grandson category.  

And we had them play in the championship tournament.  Ryan went with Dylan and I went with Kylee.  We had to follow all the rules, which included not carrying their bag (though I saw lots of people carrying their kid's bags and Ryan carried Dylan's a bit too), whiffs count as a stroke (that got Kylee a couple times), etc.  It was fun walking the course with Kylee!  She's a cute golfer!

 They had a bbq with the awards ceremony that we went to.  I think this was Kylee getting the award for her and Dad's score.

 They gave out these trophies to everyone, which was cool.  Sadie and Dylan were not first, but they were not last either!  Their trophies say their place.  I think Dylan was 12th and Sadie maybe 7th?  Kylee took 2nd place!  So proud!  I think she shot 70 or something.  (9 holes)

I was glad we got to do the tournaments this year since we missed last year.  One of these years, taking them out will get easier.  It's just hard with Kaden because he wants to hit the ball all the time and he steals the clubs the kids need and what not.  And he walks slow or wants to be carried.  Maybe next year it will be better!
