Lake Days

Lake days are one of our favorite things about summer.  We spend hours there.  It's always more fun with friends, of course.  

The day I did the Rigby Lake triathlon, I had my mom, Ryan and the kids, and Sara and her kids come meet me at the lake to play after my race was finished.  We rented a paddle board.  I have wanted to try one for awhile, but I can't really go out on a board when I'm responsible for a 2-year-old.  So we took advantage having Ryan and my mom there.  

 Dylan's favorite part is always making sand creations.  If he has friends, he will play for hours.  Otherwise he will get bored eventually and ask when we can leave.  He swims out to the dock or the slide when he gets warm.

 The paddle board is a lot harder when a kid is jerking it around trying to "help push".  It's pretty fun though!

 The girls have fun in the water, especially the kayak and tubes.  They swim out to the dock or slide often.  They had fun playing with Grandma out there.
