Packed to the brim and off on our adventure! We drove to Salt Lake, stopped at Rubios! ( of course) and then hopped on the shuttle bus to go to the airport, which was an adventurous ride. The kids were excited and happy.
They did really well while we waited for our plane. They had some activities. The plane ride was easy with the library of movies they had on the plane. I think everyone watched Coco and some other shows. Kaden had his own DVD player to watch his shows. Easy Peasy. The only problem was that we got to Florida after midnight. We had to walk through the airport to the rental car place and wait in line for awhile. It was like 1am in Florida (so only 11pm at home). My kids were goofy tired. Sadie sat in the carseat on the floor and tried to fall asleep. It was a SUPER late night but we headed over to a hotel and had two rooms so the girls slept in one and the boys in the other and we slept so late we would've missed breakfast if Ryan hadn't knocked on the door to wake us up.
Florida in March is lovely. The bugs are not as obnoxious and the temperatures are easier to handle. But that means it's not as warm to swim. Kylee said, "I don't care how cold it is, I'm swimming!" And so she did. In the rain. As soon as we got there. Her and Dylan both. They didn't last very long, but they did it.
