These three soccer girls all went to different colleges. But they were back in town together and went to watch their old friends play at the new field.
Pretty sunsets during soccer games! This was Sadie. She played for IFFC on a combined team of all the girls who were still in 8th grade. It was about half of each team that moved on to high school and half that stayed. It was fun. They had some talented players and they won a lot. But she did not want to play Spring season with IFFC because most of her team left for a different club and her coach stopped coaching and she didn't like the remaining coach or the team left. It's an unfortunate and annoying situation and this isn't even the first time!
Dylan played forward most the time. He's pretty fast even though he's big now. He had a lot of good shots on goal during the season and near the end he made a few goals. It was fun watching him.
He told us in the middle of the season that he was going to finish out the season, but that he didn't want to play next year. I hoped maybe the coaches or the kids would talk in into it but he had his mind made up. He was more interested in weight lifting and soccer complicated that. So this was his last game. Sad!
Kaden's team is doing really well! They finished top in their league. They have yet to win a tournament, though. This was the Spooky Sixes tournament that is just for fun. The teams were mixed with some lower players on each of the teams. They got beat by another club.
