February 2021

Kaden really wanted to try skiing.  So I set up a lesson a little before the school came for their night so that Kaden could continue to ski while Sadie did.  Kaden did really well during his lesson and I helped him up the bunny hill a few times.  I didn't bring my snowboard because I knew I would be with him the whole time.  He was having fun until someone pulled on the tow rope and made it jerk back and forth and it banged him in his helmet and then got his forehead.  He cried and it left a good mark.  After that he was no longer interested in skiing.  We decided he probably need a year or two before he could really get the hang of it.  Those people that take their young kids all the time are more patient than I am.  I wanted to have some time for myself to snowboard.  Going up there just to walk around with him was really hard.  He was super cute though.

Sadie ended up loving snowboarding and ski club in general.  I brought Kylee to hang out with me some of the time too.

Kylee and I got to go on President's Day when it was stormy (right after getting back from St George) and it was awesome!

Lots of snow that week!  Dylan put together an impromptu snow shoveling service activity for the Deacons.

The last bad idea of winter, Soup in the Snow.  This was REALLY fun!  I know it might not sound fun.  But it had snowed SO much so it was deep and fresh and lovely.  I had a lot of fun.  Anytime I started running very fast I would end up stepping slightly off the trail and my foot would sink down and I would face plant!  It was so funny and still fun.  The only problem is freezing at the end when trying to enjoy food.  Also, I don't actually feel hungry right after I run very often but it's hard not to enjoy some food.

We were told we had to do a push up on the bridge.

We missed Jen but Sherri and I had a lot of fun!
