October 2019

Dylan was invited to this Math Magician hosted by GATE.  I took the kids and it was kinda fun.  But the best part was that we had raffle tickets at the end and of all of us, it was Kaden who won a prize.  He got to choose from a bunch of them and he chose this crystal-making kit.  He was excited!

Kylee's soccer friend Claire decided to invite all the soccer girls over for a party just because they hadn't been seeing each other as much.  They are such a cute group of girls and they love each other.
Dylan spent some time on his dominos again.  It's always fun to see what he comes up with.

Time to update the big family picture!  It's so nice that Sara and Dan are here in town with us now.

The grandkids got to spend some time with each other at Grandma and Grandpa's house this fall.  This day they decided to help the next door neighbor with her leaves.  Work is always more fun with friends.
First snowfall.  It's always fun when we get a bunch of snow in October (not).  The kids like it.  I saw this saying posted on Facebook and I thought it was spot-on.  Complaining about things you can't change just does nobody any good.  Find joy no matter your situation.

Sadie finished up volleyball.  She had so much fun!

Kaden's preschool went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch and this time I got to go with him :)  This is such a fun place!  We even stayed after a little to keep playing because he was loving it.  We saw a few other preschool classes including a couple of my friends who teach.

I've been looking forward to a haunted house all year.  Averi was not as excited, lol.  I'm not sure why she puts up with us.  She was not thrilled.  But we had fun.  This one was in Shelley so not a very far drive.  It wasn't really as cool as the one we did last year either, but it was still fun.

Ryan and I were invited to a Halloween party by our neighbors.  We thought it would be fun.  I wasn't sure about the costume though.  Ryan isn't the type to dress up too crazy.  But when I came across the idea for Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler I knew I could get him to do it.  I thought people would know us right away, but hardly anybody knew until I told them.  And then they got it.
This is what they look like.

 The over 30 group.
 The whole crew.

I helped out with Dylan's class party.  I was asked to do a photo booth.  It was really fun, but stressful.  I had to borrow a selfie light from Courtney and it worked really well.

I had fun walking around with Kaden on Halloween night.  Even though it was freezing and there was snow on the ground.

Dylan and his friends came up with a game plan for how to tackle the trick or treating throughout the neighborhood.  They were planning on bringing in a TON.  I think he did pretty well.  He won't be trick or treating much anymore so he needed to go out big.
