Sadie's Birthday

Sadie decided to have a roller skating birthday party and a sleepover.  We haven't really ever let our kids have slumber parties, for good reason.  But that's what she really wanted.  The girls had a lot of fun skating.  We told Starlight that it was her birthday and asked if they would play Taylor Swift.  And they did!  A couple songs in a row and then another one a little while later.  After skating we went to Orange Leaf and then back to our house.

Having a bunch of people at our house is stressful for Sadie.  They were all trying to stay up all night, and they got hungry and tried to sneak food downstairs, which stressed out Sadie.  She came in my room a couple times in the middle of the night, which was rough for me.  Everything is worse when you are super tired too.  But at least she got it out of her system and she won't ask again for awhile.
