Soccer Banquet

Soccer ended and there were tears, but then we had the banquet and there were more tears.  Gosh I love this team.  Her coach absolutely loved her.  This is what he said about her: Last but certainly not least, the gentle giant, the El Capitan, the famous, the one and only, Kylee Anderson.  Where do I begin.  I don't think she missed an open net throughout the summer, she hit the ground running at the beginning of the season.  She was immediately in my mind a captain from the very beginning and she led by example.  I could go on and on about Kylee. She was amazing on the field, but in reality Kylee is going to be very successful in life because life is bigger than soccer. And this is a phenomenal human being and I love her, she's great, she was a wonderful captain, and she will be missed.

Kylee also won the 1st team All Conference for her position as Center D.  This is the first year Kylee has been able to play Center Back, because we haven't had an offense before.  So it was fun for her to be able to play and excel.  These are chosen by all the coaches in the conference.  There were a handful from our club team in different high schools that were also on the list (and I have never read about these before but I guess Averi got the same award as Kylee last year, which is so awesome!)

And with this, Kylee is officially signing off number 18...  It's been a great run.
